Finding the right insurance is a tedious part of our life so being able to compare offers in the most ergonomic and pleasing experience certainly helps making the right choice.

Insurance doesn’t sound glamorous and is an aging sector but with Lelynx we wanted to modernize and consider the visual aspect of the user experience and medias. We worked hard to develop a homogeneous brand identity across all channels. That was the first time that the company took this path and it was a challenge to bring every party on board. Finally, real exploration has being done on the user flows and with the help of a newly built design system foundations, ui kit and extensive user interviews we improved the product inspiring competitors.

With soon-to-be implemented features the need for homogeneity grew stronger, we then worked with our developers on an efficient system of components, allowing faster delivery and reducing potential human error.

2/3 of the icons had to be created from scratch to fit the specific cases.

Flows

The most important part of it all was naturally the products themselves with many challenges in following improvements such as security concerns, simplicity, synthesize long cascades of questions, forms drop rate, conversion and third-party transition. This was made possible trough extensive user interviews, A/B testing and even Google UX workshop to identify possible solutions.

6 forms for each product, each one with specific needs and pain points.

Our efforts proved to be successful as every rate has been improved with new features such as categorization, navigable progress bar, grouping, info saving, iconography and illustration; thus inspiring our competitors.

Branding

The brand topic was a major challenge at Lelynx and I had the pleasure to participate in the re-branding including new logo, TV commercial, creation of youtube content such as interviews and tutorials to educate the consumer.

Tutorials created with external agency and comedian / Interviews following political decisions influencing the consumer insurance policies.
